About FragsIndia

Putting Indian Perfumery
On The Map

India makes world-class fragrances. It's time the world knew.

The Story

FragsIndia was born from frustration: why was there no trusted voice for Indian perfumery?

When you searched for fragrance reviews, you'd find thousands about Tom Ford and Dior. But Ababel? ISAK? Bombay Perfumery? The 400-year-old attars from Kannauj? Barely a mention.

Indian perfumers are creating world-class scents—some at ₹999, some at ₹4,000. Fragrances built for our climate. Formulated for our skin. Priced for our reality.

But without credible reviews, how would anyone discover them? How would a Mumbai professional know if that new Ababel EDP is worth it? How would someone in Delhi choose between Hasan Oud and Fusion by Rizwan?

So we built FragsIndia—to celebrate, critique, and champion Indian perfumery. One honest review at a time.

"We're not just reviewing perfumes. We're reclaiming our place in a conversation where Indian perfumery deserves to be front and center."

Our Mission

To make Indian perfumery as celebrated globally as French wine, Italian fashion, or Japanese whisky.

Global Recognition

Building the definitive platform for Indian fragrance. When someone anywhere in the world searches for niche perfumes, Indian brands should be in that conversation.

Community First

Real reviews from real Indians who understand what works in our climate, culture, and lives. No paid promotions. No brand bias. Just honest takes.

Heritage Meets Innovation

Celebrating 5,000 years of attar tradition while championing Instagram-age indie brands. From Kannauj masters to Mumbai studios—all deserve the spotlight.

Why This Matters

India has always been at the heart of global perfumery. Mysore sandalwood. Kannauj attars. Jasmine sambac. Vetiver from Tamil Nadu. These aren't exotic ingredients—they're foundational.

Yet when Western perfume houses use them, they get the credit. The story. The premium pricing. Meanwhile, Indian brands—making extraordinary fragrances with the same heritage, often better quality—remain invisible.

This isn't just about perfume. It's about representation. It's about owning our narrative.

When an Indian entrepreneur can build a world-class fragrance brand and get recognized globally. When Kannauj attar makers see their craft celebrated, not exoticized. When someone in Berlin or New York searches for "best oud" and sees Indian brands in the results— that's when we'll have succeeded.

What We Stand For

Radical Honesty

We're not influencers. We don't do sponsored reviews. If a perfume smells like mosquito repellent, we'll say it. If it's a masterpiece, we'll shout it from the rooftops.

Quality Over Hype

We don't care about follower counts or viral reels. We care about craftsmanship, ingredients, longevity, and whether it actually smells good after 8 hours in Mumbai humidity.

Elevating the Entire Industry

We succeed when Indian perfumery succeeds. That means featuring both established houses and new startups, ₹799 brands and ₹4,000 niche labels. Everyone gets a fair shot.

Education & Access

We're not gatekeepers. We want more Indians to discover, appreciate, and celebrate great fragrances. Our content is designed to educate, not intimidate.

Where We're Going

Five years from now, when someone anywhere in the world searches for "best niche perfume," Indian brands will be in that conversation. When international fragrance forums discuss oud, they'll reference Kannauj. When journalists write about fragrance trends, they'll include India.

Not as an afterthought. Not as "exotic." But as equals. As leaders.

That's the world FragsIndia is building. One review, one brand feature, one honest conversation at a time.
